Identification, installation, dismantling, inspection, testing and maintenance of gate, globe, ball, butterfly, check and pressure-control valves.
SC-05 · Short CourseElectric Motor Rewinding and Maintenance
Motor fault diagnosis, dismantling, coil winding, insulation, rewinding, reassembly, testing and preventive maintenance.
SC-06 · Short CourseAir Compressor Repair and Maintenance
Operation, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of reciprocating and rotary air compressors, including safety systems.

Operation, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of motor-control systems, starters, overload protection and basic VFDs.

Installation, alignment, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of centrifugal, reciprocating and positive-displacement pumps.

Visual inspection, dimensional checks and basic non-destructive testing methods for defects in welds and fabricated structures.
SC-16 · Short CourseShipyard Safety, Permit-to-Work and Confined-Space Operations
Hazard identification, PPE, permit-to-work procedures, confined-space entry, hot-work precautions and emergency response.
