About Us

The Naval Dockyard Apprentice School is a leading apprentice institution  programmes designed to meet global requirements. The School is the number one apprentice school in the country, and we have provided quality education for over 30 years. Over 70 apprentices graduate from our apprentice each year.

The School not only builds human capacity but also facilitates the reduction of the unemployment rate. Our graduates are given the requisite knowledge to set up their apprentice workshop, where they can be self-employed and also employ others , thereby reducing the burden of unemployment. This role is vital and timely at the crucial time when labour market in Nigeria is overburdened, and the unemployement rate is high. The uneployment rate for the first time quarter (Q1) of 2023, according to the National Bureau of Statistsics (NBS), was 4.1 per cent. NDAS is, therefore, one of the vital tools to drive Nigeria’s technology and economic sectors.
